Slender, not completely dry fruit with nutty and chocolaty oak flavours, fine sandy, predominantly crumbly tannins, some persistence and bite, hints of redcurrants and dried mushrooms, citrus zest in the background, also pomegranate seeds, a hint of bacon and chalk on a good to very good finish.
