Clear, delicate nutty, smoky and peppery aroma of black and a little red berries with cherry notes, dried floral and tomato traces as well as moderate wood spice. Ripe, slightly smoky fruit, youthful, yet relatively fine tannins, persistent on the palate, hinted at tobacco and peppery, good substance, a touch of bacon in the background, a hint of forest mushrooms, well-integrated, moderately roasted wood, some depth, chalky-salty minerality, very good, firm, rather austere finish.

Best to drink: Mitte 2025 bis 2032+. What our ratings mean
