2022 Silvaner trocken "AB OVO", Franconia/Franken, Germany

Slightly smoky, quite firm and deep, somewhat nutty and vegetal to herbal aroma of yellow fruit with a hint of tobacco and red berries. Clear, juicy, firm fruit with a hint of medicinal herbs and yeast, lively yet fine acidity, has some grip, good substance and persistence, green tobacco, broccoli and nutmeg in the background, hints of redcurrants, salty minerality, some depth, very good, juicy and grippy finish. Needs some time.

Best to drink: Mitte 2024 bis 2030+. What our ratings mean
