2020 Silvaner trocken "AB OVO", Franconia/Franken, Germany

Firm and quite deep, almost cool, vegetal and slightly bready yeasty scent with bright yellow fruity notes and minerality. Clear, again almost cool, finely juicy, tart fruit, yeasty, herbaceous-vegetable, delicately floral and peppery notes, very fine acidity, grip of ripe tannin, lasting, good depth, fine spiciness, still undeveloped but nevertheless already very animating, very good, taut, finely spicy and tangy finish, again with minerality, some yeast, herbaceous-vegetable aromas, plus a little celery and pepper.

Best to drink: Mitte 2022 bis 2028+. What our ratings mean
