2020 Escherndorf Am Lumpen 1655 Riesling Grosses Gewächs trocken, Franconia/Franken, Germany

Cool, firm, still yeasty and very delicately smoky nose with tart, quite fine yellow-fruity aromas, some root vegetables, bacony nuances and clear, tart minerality and hints of resinous herbs. Restrained, tightly knit, again rather cool fruit, fine, lively acidity and some grip, planty to herbaceous and mushroomy aromas, a hint of smoke, implied yellow spice, persistent on the palate, clear, light minerality, vegetal nuances, very good, firm, cool, tangy and very mineral finish.
