2017 Silvaner trocken VDP.Gutswein, Franconia/Franken, Germany

Fairly tart nose, still slightly closed and muted, pomaceous fruit and a hint of xcitrus, vegetal aromas, hint of mushrooms, floral traces, light mineral notes. Fairly compact juicy, tart fruit on the palate, elegant yeasty and vegetal notes, hint of mushrooms, light peppery and herbaceous notes, very elegant acidity, fairly persistent, has more substance than the low alcohol level would lead one to expect, delicate hint of melon, touch of mussel shells, good finish.
