2010 Merlot trocken, Rheingau, Germany

Cool, woody red berry nose with herbaceous and earthy notes. Partly preserved vegetal notes on the palate, herbaceous and old oak, fruit of preserved red berries, fine-grained tannins, herbaceous and spicy notes, has some substance, mineral notes and some polished, shows a varietal character, attractive finish.
