2020 Bingen Kirchberg Riesling Grosses Gewächs trocken, Rheinhessen, Germany

Delicately waxy scent of stone fruit, citrus and also a little dark fruit with dried vegetal to herbal and tobacco notes. Largely dry fruit with a bit of vegetal flavours reminiscent of seaweed and spinach, fine acidity and some grip of crumbly tannin, floral and dark berry traces on the palate, some minerality, a touch of spiced bread crust, spring onions and mustard pickles, persistent, medium power, very good, still a touch phenolic-covered finish.
