2015 Bingen Spätburgunder VDP.Aus Ersten Lagen, Rheinhessen, Germany

Clear nose, light spicy notes and some dried herbs, ripe, mixed berries, hint of cherries, floral traces, moderate spicy oak. Ripe, fairly firm, juicy fruit on the palate, some spicy oak, fine, youthful tannins, some acid bite, good substance and persistence, touch of vanilla, peppery traces, fairly full-bodied, slightly noticeable warm alcohol, mineral notes in the background, hint o licorice and ethereal notes, very good, juicy, spicy finish.
