2019 Röttingen Feuerstein Traminer Spätlese, Franconia/Franken, Germany

Somewhat vegetal to herbal, floral and hints of nutty scent of yellow fruits with slightly chalky hints and a hint of elderberry. Straight, sweet, still slightly yeasty fruit with a delicate melt and some wax, fine, lively acidity, pepper, mint and juniper in the background, some fine sandy tannin and quite good persistence, hints of red berries and some salt in the good, slightly smoky finish
