2022 Wachau DAC Ried Kalkofen Grüner Veltliner Smaragd® trocken, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Rather restrained, delicately floral nose, reminiscent of bamboo shoots, with pomaceous and stone fruit aromas, some root vegetables and walnut. Quite firm, relatively bright, rather restrained fruit that becomes juicier with air, yeasty and still a hint of buttery-lactic tones, fine, marbling acidity and some grip, herbal notes and celery, smoky traces, persistent on the palate, quite clear minerality, some power, good depth, very good finish with grip, some alcohol warmth and persistence.
