2021 Obervolkach Landsknecht trocken "Pinot Noir", Franconia/Franken, Germany

Clear, slightly smoky aroma of first more black, then increasingly also red berries with cherry notes, hints of pepper as well as a little vanilla and roasted notes in the background. Ripe, clear, juicy, quite polished fruit, again with some smoky and toasty wood notes, youthful, relatively present, yet ripe tannin, some bite, certain power and persistence, peppery and herbal nuances, salt in the background, still undeveloped, very good, quite firm, juicy and spicy finish.
