2019 Obervolkach Landsknecht Domina trocken "R", Franconia/Franken, Germany

Clear, very slightly peppery nose of dark berries and cherries with slightly herbal hints. Tart, juicy, dark fruit, quite taut, fine, youthful tannin, some bite, smoky and toasty hints, some persistence, peppery-spicy and herbal tones, not too deep but very carefully made, still young, good to very good finish with smoky notes.
