2017 Obervolkach Landsknecht Bacchus Spätlese, Franconia/Franken, Germany

Fairly cool nose, light nutty and fresh vegetal notes, citrus with a hint of stone fruit, delicate floral traces. Straightforward, sweet fruit on the palate, with a touch of preserved apricots, elegant, lively acidity, sugar candy and a hint of citrus fruit, light grip, good persistence, salty notes, hint of tobacco, hint of slightly bitter lemon peel, very slightly muted on a good to very good finish.
