2016 Lorch Schlossberg Riesling Erstes Gewächs, Rheingau, Germany

Nose still slightly sharp, vegetal and herbaceous notes, partly candied citrus fruit and some stone fruit, light floral traces, light mineral notes. Ripe, creamy, slightly warm fruit on the palate, light yeasty notes and bread, elegant acidity, integrated tannins, some sugar candy, creamy, noticeable high alcohol, light floral touch, hint of dark berries, slightly sweetish, fairly prominent tart mineral notes, contours slightly sot, slightly noticeable sulphur again on a good to very good alcoholic finish.
