A rather firm, robust, slightly tobacco-like scent of more black than red berries with a hint of forest mushrooms, a touch of eggplant, as well as moderate, slightly smoky to fatty and nutty wood spices. Also relatively firm on the palate with fresh, rather dark juice, ripe, soft, yet youthful tannins, a bit of bite, dried-vegetal and fatty nuances, salt in the background, a hint of soup herbs, very slight roasted notes, some depth, and a very good finish.

Best to drink: Ende 2024 bis 2028+. What our ratings mean
