Tart, somewhat vegetal to herbal scent of more black than red berries with slightly tomato and tobacco aromas and a hint of tar. Ripe, quite juicy, again relatively dark fruit, smoky and a little tobacco aromas, salt in the background, some hay butter, hints of peppery notes, a touch of mushrooms and bacon, lasting, good substance, a hint of juniper, very good, tart, again a little smoky finish.

Best to drink: 2025-2030+. What our ratings mean
