Roasty, nutty and slightly chocolaty aroma of black berries and a little pepper with coffee-roasted notes. Ripe, quite juicy, partly preserved fruit with some acid bite and toasty wood spice, smoky notes, coffee and cocoa on the palate, lots of power and noticeable alcohol, slightly sandy tannin, hints of oniony nuances, some smoke, ethereal notes, good to very good, slightly alcoholic finish with acid bite.

Best to drink: 2023-2026+. What our ratings mean
