Nutty, woody and slightly tobacco aroma of ripe, predominantly black berries with a little liquorice, dried planty nuances and a hint of coffee. Ripe, relatively juicy, partly preserved dark fruit with lots of smoky and toasty wood spice, some acidity, present, fine sandy tannins, coffee notes, in the background a little herbs, black olives and earthy nuances, noticeable alcohol, slightly bitter, good to very good finish, again with partly preserved fruit and lots of wood.

Best to drink: 2023-2027+. What our ratings mean
