2009 Sommerhausen Steinbach Rieslaner Trockenbeerenauslese Edles Franken, Franconia/Franken, Germany

Slightly leafy and bready nose with notes of dried and caramelised pomaceous fruit with some chamomile. Delicately melting sweetness, notes of camomile and herbs, polished, caramelised fruit and sultanas, as well as some brown sugar candy, integrated acidity, rather calm, very traditional style, has substance and some persistence, despite the high sweetness also delicately juicy, long finish.
