Firm, cool and quite deep, still slightly yeasty, clearly fresh and vegetal nose with fine pome fruit aromas and a hint of citrus zest and peach. Clear, juicy, very slightly nutmeg-spicy fruit, fine acidity and delicate grip, herbaceous and fine-vegetable notes on the palate, peppery tones, hints of smoke, rather unnecessary sweetness, hints of wine gum, good persistence, very good, juicy and spicy finish with salty notes. A lot of wine for the money, would only be more exciting without the residual sugar.

Best to drink: Ende 2024 bis 2027+. What our ratings mean
