2001 Oppenheim Herrenberg Weißburgunder Spätlese trocken, Rheinhessen, Germany

Cool, mineral and spicy notes on the nose, apple and citrus aromas with a touch of melons and white vegetables. Elegantly juicy, firmly woven fruit with evident mineral and spicy notes, playful acidity, very powerful on the palate, good grip and very persistent, yet appears anything but heavy or clumsy, long finish with delicate fruit as well as mineral and spicy notes.
