2001 Oppenheim Herrenberg Riesling Auslese M ***, Rheinhessen, Germany

Firmly structured nose with elegant mineral notes, aromas of apple, peach, citrus fruits and a hint of blackcurrant. Sweet, juicy fruit with elegant acidity, delicate honeyed aromas on the palate, very persistent, good grip and mineral notes in the background, playful, concentrated and with a long finish. Will improve further with time.
