2000 Uelversheim Schloss Huxelrebe Trockenbeerenauslese, Rheinhessen, Germany

Relatively restrained, spicy nose, with aromas of honey, varnish, as well as dried peaches and apricots. Concentrated, creamy fruit, sweet and spicy, very elegant, racy acidity, roasted aromas on the palate, some caramel and honey, slightly unfocussed fruit character, quite persistent, good length.
