Restrained herbaceous and a hint of chocolate on the nose, red and black berries, hibiscus, cherries and a hint of liquorice. Partly preserved, partly fresh, still undeveloped, quite juicy fruit with a certain acid bite and fine, youthful tannins, smoky, roasted oak notes, some coffee and dark chocolate, vegetal to herbaceous notes, a hint of liquorice, some salt in the background, very good, fruity and woody-spicy finish, again with hibiscus.

Best to drink: Mitte 2024 bis 2029+. What our ratings mean
