2019 Kobern Uhlen Riesling Alte Reben, Mosel, Germany

Relatively cool, somewhat herbal, nutty and slightly smoky citrus scent with delicate floral and slightly vegetal hints. Clear, rather tightly knit, sweetish fruit with a hint of lavender and marjoram, lively, yet very fine acidity, delicate grip and good persistence, hints of pepper and thyme, slightly chalky texture, dark mineral tones, good substance, some warmth, very good finish with ripe juice, some yeasty spice and draw.

Best to drink: Ende 2022 bis 2027+. What our ratings mean
