2015 Gondorf Gäns Riesling Spätlese, Mosel, Germany

Firm nose, yeasty with a touch of lentils and root vegetables, petrol notes, prominent herbaceous notes, yellow fruit, floral and mineral traces. Mature yellow fruit on the palate, touch of petrol again, yeasty notes, curcuma, lentils, floral traces and herbaceous notes, lively acidity, touch of carbon dioxide, light tannic grip, yeasty traces, still totally undeveloped, sage in the background, hint of dark berries, light earthy and salty mineral notes, very good juicy, gripping finish. Still needs time to mature.
