Nutty nose with fine yellow-fruity aromas and vegetal tones reminiscent of celery and broccoli as well as restrained barrel tones and a hint of mussels. Firm, tart, rather restrained fruit, smoky and nutty wood, root vegetables on the palate, slightly mushroomy and hints of bacon, a certain power and warmth, good persistence, a hint of roasted onions and garlic, mussels again, some salt in the background, still undeveloped, very good, firm finish.

Best to drink: Mitte 2024 bis 2027+. What our ratings mean
