Red berry nose with mushrooms and undergrowth typical of the varietal, herbs and spices, peppery and prominent mineral notes. Quite creamy red berry fruit on the palate, totally integrated oak, more mineral and light earthy notes, spicy peppery notes, slate, quite charming, has depth and substance, good varietal character and shows its origins, perfectly developed, good long finish.

Editor note: Spicy, slightly smoky nose, dried cranberries, undergrowth and dried out cereals. Fairly austere on the palate, fairly light-bodied and elegant, has some substance and good persistence, with aeration gentle red berry notes develop, also vegetal notes, herbs and spices, polished, has some depth, noticeable mineral notes, integrated tannins, good finish. Somewhat complicated in its austere, direct style, but has a good backbone, and loads of character.
