2000 Frühburgunder Classic trocken, Ahr, Germany

Ruby to garnet, lighter on the rim. Red and black berries and cherries on the nose, dark, spicy roasted notes. Clear, straighforward fruit, mienral notes, roasted oak, relatively fine, astringent tannins, decent persistence, roasted finish. Needs time to develop.
