Very lightly developed, delicately smoky and slightly fleshy aroma of predominantly dark berries with tobacco, nutty, earthy and hints of tar as well as a little floral-perfumed hints with air. Quite tightly knit, again rather dark fruit, smoky and toasty wood aromas, bacony tones, some herbal spice and pepper on the palate, noticeable alcohol strength, quite present but ripe tannin, some acid bite, only limited depth, softens with air, a hint of porcini mushrooms, good to very good finish.

Best to drink: Bis 2027+. What our ratings mean
