2018 Weißburgunder Landwein "Johann Jakob", Baden, Germany

Nutty and slightly floral nose with yellow fruity aromas, lots of ginger, smoke, light woody tones, mustard pickle and yellow spice. Quite firm fruit, again smoky to bacony woody notes, ginger, mustard cucumber and nutty tones, a hint of nut butter, good substance, lasting and grippy, a hint of fennel and herbs, slightly drying tannin, very good finish.
