2021 Freinsheim Spätburgunder trocken "Glimmer", Pfalz, Germany

Smoky and slightly toasty scent of black and red berries with floral tones, a little herbs, pepper and coffee. Clear, relatively cool, tart, straightforward fruit, smoky and toasty notes, a little dried-vegetable to tobacco, some persistence, youthful, relatively present, medium-fine tannin, a little cocoa and coffee in the background, some acid bite, not too deep but well made, good to very good finish.
