2021 Freinsheim Oschelskopf Spätburgunder "Auf dem mittleren Gross", Pfalz, Germany

Somewhat dried-vegetable to tobacco and leathery scent of black and a little red berries with a hint of cherries, smoke, juniper and floral nuances. Quite juicy, clear fruit with some acid bite and fine sandy, youthful tannins, smoky-roasty tones, on the palate dark chocolate and a little coffee, medium power, quite clearly salt, herbal nuances, a hint of citrus zest, very good, somewhat chocolaty finish with bite and tart smoky tones.
