Distinctly smoky and reminiscent of anchovies, with a scent of mixed berries and cherries, accompanied by a hint of beetroot in the background, underbrush, barrel tones, and forest mushrooms. Ripe, quite dense, juicy fruit, smoky and slightly cocoa-spiced wood notes, a touch of forest mushrooms, and again hinted underbrush, relatively fine tannins, ashy traces, with chalky-salty tones in the background, some grilled mackerel, also fried mushrooms, very good, firm finish.

Best to drink: Mitte 2025 bis 2029+. What our ratings mean
