Fairly firm nose, more black than red berries with cherry nuances, juniper, some Mediterranean herbs and light earthy and smoky/spicy notes. Tart, juicy, again firm dark fruit with smoky, roasted and ashy notes, a certain acid bite, fine sandy, present, slightly drying tannins, some salmiak on the palate, dark chocolate, coffee grounds and nut liqueur in the background, warming alcohol, good persistence, raisiny hints, quite clear minerality, very good finish.

Best to drink: 2025-2029+. What our ratings mean
