2015 Ilbesheim Kalmit Riesling Beerenauslese VDP.Grosse Lage, Pfalz, Germany

Dried vegetal notes on the nose, light earthy notes and a hint of petrol, yellow fruit, some leeks and radishes, tart chalky earthy and mineral notes, hint of bacon, traces of yellow spice. Very sweet, partly preserved and candied fruit on the palate, vegetal as well as light chalky, earthy notes, very elegant acidity, fairly persistent, not particularly deep, light floral traces on a very good, sweet finish with prominent candied notes.
