Firmly woven and quite deep, polished, somewhat smoky aroma of ripe black and a little red berries with dried herbal and floral nuances, hints of mushrooms, sour cherries and a touch of bacon in the background. Clear, fine, tart, still undeveloped, relatively dark fruit, slightly smoky and hints of tobacco wood, fine, youthful, yet crumbly tannins, some bite, good substance and persistence, fleshy traces, cocoa notes that become more pronounced with air, cooling ethereal notes, lots of salt, very good, tart, firm finish with bite.

Best to drink: Mitte 2023 bis 2028+. What our ratings mean
