2015 Endingen Engelsberg Chardonnay Spätlese trocken, Baden, Germany

Clear, lively nose, prominent vegetal notes, citrus and some peach fruit as well as pomaceous fruit, yeasty traces, restrained light vanilla oak. Ripe, slightly warm fruit on the palate, vegetal and herbaceous notes, light spicy oak, persistent and full-bodied, noticeable warm alcohol, very slightly sweetish and creamy, hint of brown butter, touch of smoked bacon, slightly warm again on a good to very good finish.
