2015 Unteröwisheim Kirchberg Syrah trocken, Baden, Germany

Vegetal and earthy notes on the nose, some undergrowth and a hint of mushrooms, predominantly black berries, light meaty, animal notes, hint of tobacco, dried herbs. Tart, fairly cool fruit on the palate, dried vegetal and herbaceous notes, earthy and light peppery notes, fairly prominent fine sandy tannins, light acid bite, citrus notes in the background, salty traces, hint of pomegranate and mint, good to very good, fairly firm, juicy finish.
