Clear aroma of black berries with a hint of cherries and herbs as well as tart nutty hints. Quite tightly knit, juicy dark fruit, fine sandy tannin, persistent on the palate, nutty and slightly chocolaty wood flavours, persistent on the palate, has power and melting, spicy hints, some salt, some depth, very good, a hint drying finish with quite fresh dark juice, smoke and very light sooty spice

Editor note: Translate to English Recht kühler, geschliffener, typischer und völlig reintöniger Duft nach teils eingemachten schwarzen Beeren und Kirschen mit einem Hauch Bitterschokolade und Vanille, einer Spur Nüsse, floralen Nuancen und Lakritz. Klare, kühl-saftige, wieder ausgesprochen geschliffene Frucht im Mund, feiner Säurebiss und sehr feines, regelrecht seidiges Tannin, am Gaumen wieder zarte Aromen von Vanille und Bitterschokolade, tabakige Nuancen, nachhaltig, bei aller Kraft sehr elegant, beste Balance, sehr guter Abgang. Gekonnt.
