Firm, quite dark, somewhat vegetal to dried herbal, nutty and hints of leathery scent of predominantly dark berries with nuances reminiscent of aubergine, star anise, pepper and meat juice. Firm, almost concentrated fruit with some nutty and bitter-chocolatey wood flavours, present ripe tannin, dense and persistent, certain depth, hints of coffee grounds, tobacco and laurel, dark minerality, Mediterranean type, but despite all power also has cool elements, a hint of cinnamon, a very good finish with emphasis, dark juice and slightly bitterish wood spice. A lot of wine for the money.
