Smoky and a hint of earthy aroma with relatively cool black berry aromas, some sour cherries, beetroot, pumpkin seeds and dried flowers. Firmly woven, tart black fruit with smoky and again hinted at sooty wood flavours, present, ripe tannins, a little coffee and tobacco on the palate, persistent, slightly peppery, has power, bacony and earthy hints, very good, firm, tart finish with fine bitter wood notes.
