2022 Sylvaner "Feuervogel", Rheinhessen, Germany

Firm and deep, cool, multi-layered bouquet with noble, fresh vegetal and light yellow fruity notes, floral traces, some yeast, smoky nuances, celery, a hint of butter and distinct minerality. Taut, cool and fine in the mouth, again distinctly noble, bright fruit and vegetal tones, lively, polished acidity and fine grip, dense and persistent on the palate, has tension, depth and distinct, bright, salty minerality, but also something dark in the background, still barely developed, lots of power with moderate alcohol, white pepper in the background, very good to long, gripping finish with plenty of tension, still yeasty tones, noble, bright fruit and again enormous minerality.
