2020 Westhofen Morstein Riesling Grosses Gewächs trocken, Rheinhessen, Germany

Deep and firm, tart, finely vegetal, somewhat herbal and still a hint of yeasty fragrance with restrained, yet distinctly fine yellow-fruity aromas, floral traces and intense, tart minerality. Very firm, bright, tart, restrained, yet distinctly noble and fresh fruit, nutty-tobacco nuances, a hint of black berries, yeasty nuances, herbs and enormous, gripping minerality, dense and persistent on the palate, deep, grippy and complex, ripe phenolic, hints of dark berries in the background, tomato essence, still barely developed, has plenty of tension, very long, grippy, concentrated and gripping, again intensely mineral finish with noble cool juice and finest herbal spice.
