2018 Westhofen Morstein Grosses Gewächs trocken "Felix", Rheinhessen, Germany

Rather firm, tart, deep and fine scent of cherries and mainly red berries with floral notes, a hint of dried herbs and nuances of dried herbs and juniper. Concentrated, yet cool and very smooth, tangy-juicy fruit, very fine tannin and quite lively acidity, deep and persistent on the palate, clear, chalky minerality, in the background herbal nuances and a hint of pepper, still young and relatively compact, yet elegant, again with hints of juniper in the background, has something slightly Mediterranean, very firm, tangy-juicy and spicy finish with a touch and plenty of minerality. First class
