2015 Westhofen Brunnenhäuschen Auslese Abts E, Rheinhessen, Germany

Firm, mineral and herbaceous-vegetable scent of ripe citrus and stone fruit with a hint of fir needles and wax. Cool, firm, juicy and sweet fruit with a gripping, yet fine acidity and noticeable tannin grip, persistent on the palate, clearly mineral, almost cold style, good depth, has tension, herbal and spicy nuances, lots of bite, very good, firm, juicy finish with plenty of pull.
