2003 Lorenzhof Riesling Auslese Goldkapsel, Mosel, Germany

Restrained nose. quite deep aromas of peaches and apricots, tart mineral notes, pineapple and lime. Very sweet fruit, stone fruit and pineapple, elegant acidity, still largely undeveloped, firm mineral notes on the palate, cassis and honey in the background, very good long finish.

Best to drink: 2005-2020. What our ratings mean
