1997 Extra Brut Blanc de Blanc, Pfalz, Germany

Mature nutty nose, green vegetal notes, yeasty and earthy notes, partly dried citrus fruit, some peaches and quinces. Very ripe, juicy fruit on the palate, prominent yeasty and nutty aromas, more green vegetal notes, smoky traces, very fine mouuse, still lively, persistent, good substance, delicate hint of oak and bacon, good grip, also creamy, salty traces in the background, very good juicy, yeasty finish with spicy vegetal notes and a delicate hint of oak.
