2020 Wachau DAC Ried 1000-Eimer-Berg Riesling Smaragd® trocken, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Clear, delicately herbal and almost a hint of smokiness with relatively light stone fruit aromas, hints of wax and floral traces. Straightforward, again relatively bright, somewhat sweet fruit, fine acidity, herbal-vegetable notes, a hint of dark berries in the background, good persistence, still undeveloped, mineral hints, a hint of floral, also again with beeswax tones, delicate grip, very good, firm, again somewhat sweet finish with a lot of pull with nuances reminiscent of passion fruit, raspberries and kiwi. Needs to mature a little.
